Zodiak Kids Studios co-pro Magiki has been picked up by broadcasters in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The 52 x 11-minute preschool toon is a co-production with De Agostini Editore, Planeta Junior and Animasia Animation Studio.

Magiki is set to air on Discovery Kids (the Middle East and North Africa), pubcaster Karusel (Russia) and ITI Neovision (Poland) for its children’s channel MiniMini+.

Executive produced by Eryk Casemiro from Zodiak Kids Studios alongside Edmund Chan and Animasia’s Raye Lee, Magiki is based on DeAgostini collectible figurines that launched in 2009. More than 25 million products have been sold worldwide, and the series launched late last year on DeA Junior in Italy and on Lagardere’s channel Tiji. French free-to-air channel Gulli will launch the series this spring.

Magiki is set in a fantasy land full of fairies and mermaids, where Princess Billie explores issues of fairness, sibling rivalry and self-confidence.
