Animasia Studio, a Malaysia headquartered company with offshore offices in Los Angeles, USA, and Vancouver, Canada, has over 18 years of experience in creating both 2D and 3D animated projects for global audiences. Our group focuses on creative content development, where we specialize in concept artwork, character designs, storyboarding, animation productions, digital comics, audio productions, program distribution, new media management and character licensing & merchandising.
With a stable pool of Grade A clients outsourcing pre- to post-production work to Animasia, the studio has produced many established animated IPs that have been released internationally. Animasia is also committed to developing internally owned IPs, whether originally created or adaptated from novels, comics and games. We own more than 10 original IPs and our programmes can be seen on major international channels and platforms such as Netflix, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Canal+, local Free TV & many more.

Edmund ChanGroup Managing Director Edmund has over 18+ years of experience building original animation IPs (Chuck Chicken, Harry & Bunnie) from Malaysia, and he is the co-founder and Group Managing Director of Animasia Studio, a specialised studio in development, production and distribution of kids content. His expertise includes structuring international co-production, fund raising for projects, and managing production incentives for qualifying projects produce under the Film In Malaysia Incentives (FIMI). With the expansion of a subsidiary, Animasia Los Angeles was incorporated to facilitate greater partnership with North American Producers and Creators to collaborate with Asian studios to better unlock competitive resources that's available in the East.
